It’s plain and simple, figure it out before it is too late and no one cares about your walls anymore, you will be alone, just as you always feared.
Some people are a self fulfilling prophecy, I am not one of them. I love well and I’m not afraid of being alone.
That is freedom Lovies

Much stronger this year. Recap later. Time to shower and head to the boats with my girls.

I had a bunch of boxwood trimmings left over from pruning after I made the three wreaths. So yesterday I got the brilliant idea I’d cover something else. I chose an old retired cone planter and went to town. I shoved the branches in the waves and tried to shape them by shoving the tips into a higher weave. I started at the bottom and worked my way up. For about two hours. Not sure if I made cousin it or a tree. But I think I’m putting some more things in it and going to try it inside somewhere and hope it stays green enough to use through Christmas.

Yesterday I puttered with the lower window boxes and worked on the top window and door wreaths. The first set of pics is all the fails. I happened to trim my hedges and decided to work the clippings into the wreaths. I always buy a full boxwood at Christmas and use it on the door until Easter. I really like how the wreaths flowers loom with the sticks, grapevine and boxwood. Today I hope to get the top window boxes done and the final touches on the wreaths so they can be hung.

The garden is pretty abysmal this year. The few flowers the bunnies haven’t destroyed are trying to redeem my yard. I bought some coneflowers and tore out some Day Lillie’s. I also gave the willows a tremendous trimming. Hoping to get some more flowers for a better fall impact. And maybe water the veggies more so we actually get some.
