Adventures in Decorating: Pergola is up

It’s funny how one ten foot tall structure can change the feel of an entire house and yard. I wish we’d completed this years ago when I first wanted it. In a few months we will have it stained the same color as the fascia boards. Next up is Fleur de Lis hooks on the posts for wreaths! Cannot wait to enjoy this for many years to come. Mr. Landscape did a great job! Chris Rafert is a great guy with a wonderful crew.

    Beautiful! It really adds character to the house. If privacy is an issue, you could add long fabric panels on the sides that you could tie back or let flow freely in the breeze. Romantic!
